Tips for completing your charge session

You're done charging! Now what?

Simply unplug the connector

  • Usually, you can just unplug and your session will end automatically.

Note: Different vehicles have different ways of managing the end of a charging session and unlocking the charging port; so here are some more tips if you're having trouble finishing a charge session or unplugging.

Unlock your vehicle before attempting to remove the plug

  • Many vehicles will lock the charging port when your vehicle is locked, so you may have to unlock, or wake up, your EV and then pull the plug out.

Stop the active charging session from your vehicle's controls

If you vehicle is still actively charging, use your vehicle's dashboard or app and click the "stop charging" button before attempting to remove the plug.

‼️ Never try to remove a charger plug by violently pulling on the plug if it's stuck
